The Festival Of Lights

November 04, 2021

 Adorned with warm lights,

Absorbing all plights,

I see an emotion.

In the antiquity we find,

The presence of the divine.

Stories foretold by our ancestors,

With traditions mustered.

Emotions culminated to devotion.

Rama O’Rama,

Our savior the definition of the right,

Of might.

How could we welcome you,

With darkness in view?

You who illuminated the world.

How could your welcome unvaried?

The darkest day will thus be illuminated.

Not by mere presence of light ,

but with all the warmness the world could offer.

As the world age,

With every stage.

One thing that still exists,

Amidst,

Is these lights.

Shining bright.

Not by material of the age,

But with emotions intact.
